All aspects of the data center are based on paper and ink, but the cloud service is stored as data. It is what the user thinks of when the user thinks of it. Fourthly, it is scalable. It does not require users to pay the maintenance costs for infrastructure over time, and this frees up resources for the user and the organization.

Data loss prevention is a multifaceted process. With the growth of the internet, there are more threats. In a sense, cloud data loss prevention should not be seen as a single solution to all risks. Instead, cloud data loss prevention services will address the threats that present themselves in the datacenter environment by offering the solution to those threats that exist today and addressing the threats that exist in the future as well.

Cloud providers should also focus on the “now” and address the challenges of existing customers. Real customers are spending money today. These customers want better quality, more agility, faster decision making, and easier access to their data. This requires the provider to have an understanding of business requirements and build a service that caters to these needs.
