How have we helped churches and individuals recently?
The benefit of attending Time out for Leaders provided the motivation for a church weekend
The lead couple of a church in Buckinghamshire attended one of our Time out for Leaders breaks in February 2008 and were inspired to go back and immediately start organising a marriage weekend for their church. By July all was in place and two One Accord couples travelled over to lead the weekend for church couples. The intention is to run another weekend - perhaps in conjunction with other local churches.
Marriage Conferences in Uganda
Barrie & Eileen Jones were invited to Uganda in February 2008 to present a series of marriage conferences in Kampala and outlying areas. Each conference was attended by several hundred Ugandan Christians. Barrie & Eileen have just accepted an invitation to return to Uganda in February 2009 to run a second series of conferences, this time concentrating on training local pastors to continue marriage ministry in their own churches.
